English Language Day

With the aim of offering more opportunities for students to speak English, the English Department of Secondary Section organized The English Language Day on October 26. With the efforts and dedication of English teachers, the event was a success that students used the language spontaneously and enjoyed the fun with peers and teachers.

The English Day event included interesting, interactive games catering for students of different levels, such as ‘Listen & Draw’, Comprehension Challenge’, ‘Hot Seat’ and creative drama called ‘Speak And Play’..

“Listen & Draw” -- a game that requires listening and attention skills.
Our teachers and student facilitators play an essential role in the activities.
“Comprehension Challenge” – Students are reading through the passage attentively and see who will find the answer first!

  Students can’t hide their curiosity.

“Who’s in the ‘Hot Seat’?”

“Come on! You almost get it! It is a lovely animal that barks!”

“Oh, is it a dog?”

“Yes! Correct!”

Students are ready for their ‘magical play’.

Waving their magic wands, 2 students are ‘casting’ their creative spells.

“You look gorgeous in that wig.”

“Yes, please call me Mr. Wig.”
