We are dismayed to announce that our beloved Principal, Dr. Alejandro Salcedo Garcia, OP, after 21 years of relentless dedication to improving the quality of education at Saint Paul School will not be taking on the responsibilities of School Principal in the coming school year. Instead, he will be starting a new chapter in his life of continued devoted service helping others in desperate need of his ability and leadership.
Father Alex has been the initiator of many brilliant innovative and creative ideas that have transformed education not only at Saint Paul School but also in the Macao SAR. His unflagging spirit and kindness has inspired all of us with strength, courage and optimism to confront adversity in our everyday life.
We have all witnessed first-hand the remarkable results of his ideas, implementation of new processes and ability to lead with compassion. Although Father Alex will be greatly missed by students, faculty and staff alike. We rejoice that he will soon be helping others with a wonderful new beginning.
We thank you Father Alex for being such a wonderful leader, teacher and friend. Your legacy would forever remain deep in our hearts.
The school will honor Father Alex for his tremendous contributions to education in a farewell reception to be held at the JW Marriott Hotel at 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct 7 2018.
