Excitement filled the classroom on June 11, 2025, as Form One students delivered powerful poems and dramatic speeches in the Recitation Contest. With expressive voices and confident presence, they brought the English language to life in a truly engaging way.
A sincere thank-you goes to our judges—Miss Tobie Ieong, Mr. Harry Lao, and Mr. Andrew Leung—who thoughtfully assessed each performance. We were also pleased to have Miss Heather Chan, along with the class teachers of the six classes, in attendance to support the event and cheer on the students.
After much deliberation, the judges awarded First Prize to Form 1D for “Be Like the Bird,” a recitation that inspired bravery in difficult times. Second Prize went to Form 1A for “A Turtle Named Timo,” a charming tale of kindness. Third Prize was given to Form 1C for “Hold Fast Your Dreams,” a beautiful reminder to cherish our dreams.
Congratulations to all participants for their impressive efforts! This marks just the beginning of many more exciting and enriching English experiences to come.
