Form 2 Word-o-mania: The Triple Challenge
The Secondary School English Panel is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the Form 2 Word-o-mania: The Triple Challenge, an exhilarating English vocabulary competition held recently. Designed specifically for our Form 2 students, this dynamic event aimed to enrich students’ language skills, foster teamwork, and provide an engaging platform to showcase their vocabulary prowess.
The competition was honoured by the presence of our esteemed judges: Ms. Bonnie Kou, Head of the English Department, alongside English teachers Ms. Jojo Lo and Ms. Lavina San.
This year’s “Word-o-mania” featured an innovative format combining language proficiency with educational technology. Teams of four from each class utilised the Wayground digital platform to submit answers in real-time.
The competition consisted of three thrilling rounds, namely the Crossword Puzzle, the Word Scramble, and the Word Search. After a fierce and captivating battle of wits, the final results are as follows:
During the award ceremony, Ms. Jojo Lo, Ms. Lavina San, and Ms. Bonnie Kou presented certificates to the well-deserved winners, capturing the memorable moments with class photos.
The English Panel congratulates all the winners for their outstanding performance and extends a big shout-out to all participants for demonstrating incredible sportsmanship, hard work, and school spirit.
