Congratulations to the our secondary students who represented our school in the 34th Macao Students’ Recitation Contest on 13th April, 2019. The four girls, F3F Bobo Lei(李麗志), F3E Anna Fu(傅錚瀅),F5F Bonnie Cheung(張曉彤), F5B Yoyo Ao(區樂遙) showcased their talents in English recitation and 3 won home awards with their outstanding performance. Bonnie took home 1st Class award while both Yoyo and Anna were awarded 2nd Class award.
Although not having received any prizes, Bobo was highly recognized by her teacher and she enjoyed her experience in the competition which she found most beneficial to her growth. Through the recitation contest, not only have the girls enhanced their skills of public speaking as well as recitation, but they also have learnt various approaches to appreciate the language.
The contestants expressed that their heartfelt gratitude to their contest instructors (Ms Carmen Lam, Ms Ginny Sou, Ms Jojo Lo, Ms Karen Chang, Ms Lavina San, Ms Mandy Lam) for their passion and professional guidance. The teachers also agreed that the contest had served as a significant opportunity to broaden students’ horizon and strengthened their confidence and skills. Hats off to the winners and we look forward to more breakthroughs in the future.
