✨Embracing English with Joy and Confidence — English Days 2025 @ Saint Paul School Macau🎉

                                                                    “Laugh louder, Speak prouder!” 

The campus of Saint Paul School Macau turned into a playground of English and excitement on November 27th and 28th this year! 

For two colourful afternoons, our campus buzzed with music, games, laughter and one common language —ENGLISH!💬✨

English Days this year were extra special — the celebration was also part of our school’s 55th Anniversary Festivities! 🎂🎈 

It was not only a festival of English learning but also a heartfelt tribute to 55 years of growth, unity, and excellence at Saint Paul. 💖 

Organised by the newly formed English Society, a student‑led English Club founded this year to promote English language learning and confidence, the event attracted over 500 person‑times of participation across two days — a vibrant proof that learning English can be dynamic, inclusive and absolutely FUN!🚀✨

🌈 Why English Days? Because Learning Should SPARK JOY! 🎇 

English Days were thoughtfully designed to provide students with rich language experiences that extend beyond the classroom. With a focus on student engagement and growth, the event aimed: 

🌟 To boost confidence and bring everyone’s English voice to life 

🎨 To let students express creativity and individuality 

📚 To make learning interesting and everlasting 

🤝 To build a warm, inclusive community of curious learners 

🎂 To mark the 55th Anniversary of Saint Paul with energy, gratitude and Smiles in Every Language! At Saint Paul, we believe English is not just a subject — it’s an adventure! 🚀

🎪 Game On! Eight Booths of English‑Powered Fun 💥 

This year’s English Days featured eight creative and interactive booths, each designed to inspire curiosity and make language learning both meaningful and fun: 

1. 🎲Drifting Bottles – Pick a mystery question out of a capsule and answer the question inside 🌊

2. 🧠Memory Matching – Speed, focus and vocabulary, can you match them all? 🧩

3. ❓Guess the Riddle – Put on your thinking cap and crack funny riddles! 💭

4. 🎭Read Aloud – Perform short scripts confidently and clearly 🎙️

5.💣Bomb Lyric – Race against to complete the missing English words! ⏳

6. 💡Brainteaser Puzzle – Can you solve the logic twist in English? 🧩

7. 🔠Bingo – Listen closely and shout B‑I‑N‑G‑O with pride!  🎉

8. 🎤Singing Challenge – Grab the mic, sing your heart out, and own the stage! 🌟

                   “Every booth was a blast — students moved, spoke, sang and laughed their way through English!”

The campus was alive with songs, cheers and endless smiles.

🎶 At Singing Challenge, students rocked the mic with confidence — applause echoed down the hall! Bingo! had everyone on their toes — winners jumped with glee, prizes in hand 🎁. 

🎭 Creative costumes from literary characters added star power and colour to the event. Several students dressed in costumes inspired by literary classics, adding a theatrical touch to their performances and enhancing the immersive atmosphere. 👗📚

                     It wasn’t just an English Day — it was an English CELEBRATION of the 55th Anniversary! 🔥

🔖 Stamp Collection Card — Motivating Active Participation 

Each participant received a Stamp Collection Card, encouraging them to visit multiple booths and complete various challenges. Students were motivated to collect stamps one by one, proudly presenting their completed cards. This simple yet effective approach helped foster intrinsic motivation and made the entire event more engaging and rewarding. 🗂️✨

Flashlights popped as students posed with English quote placards and friends, freezing their biggest smiles in time.

Their confidence showed on every face the perfect gift for our school’s 55 years of shining growth and youthful energy. 💖
